A unique model of sustainable agroforestry

or how to put the economy at the service of the environment

Choosing AirPQ means actively helping to preserve primary forests and biodiversity by funding the planting of timber, fruit trees, medicinal plants, cocoa, and coffee in Ecuador.

It is thanks to the work of our long-standing partner, the NGO Ishpingo, that this sustainable reforestation initiative is possible and put at the service of both people and the environment.

Every order funds the planting of a tree in Ecuador, supports rural families, and restores biodiversity.

Our mission

Connecting the economy to nature.

It is through Ishpingo that our work finds its full meaning.

  • seedling-training

    Training and education

Farmers and younger generations are trained in agroforestry techniques through the association’s educational farm. In partnership with the Ecuadorian Ministry of the Environment, workshops are held in schools on climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable forest management, with the aim of making every student an active participant in reforestation.

    Reforestation

Timber, fruit, and medicinal species are replanted in sustainable agroforestry systems with Kichwa communities.

  • traditional-medicine-healer

    Value creation

Essential oils, pulps, and jams: products from the agroforests are processed into fair-trade value chains that increase local incomes.

    Protection of life

Amazonian biodiversity is studied and mapped to guide conservation projects. Mother trees, native bees, primary forests—every action aims to counter the advance of extractivism and deforestation on indigenous lands.

Protected ecosystems

Trees protect soils from erosion, promote biodiversity, and improve water retention for more resilient ecosystems.

CO2 capture

Each planted tree acts as a carbon sink by capturing CO2, thereby helping to slow global warming.
